We Can Sweat...

Check out this video from TED.com then continue on...

http://www.ted.com/talks/christopher_mcdougall_are_we_born_to_run.html

So this talk may be about running, and in it there are clearly some very inspiring stories- we humans really can do anything.  We can continuously defy the odds that we set for ourselves, we can push past the things that we tell ourselves are impossible.  That's inspiring.  Think of what that means for your potential... it is limitless.

What I like about this talk, is the when McDougall starts talking about what makes us humans different- we can work as a team (or a pack) to out run the kill.  Let's think about that in terms of your summer.  Big armies beat small armies.  You hear it all the time and it is completely true! This summer the bigger your team, the better equipped you will be with some of each kind of person to out run the kill- to go for your goal.

To sum up, McDougall talks about eliminating the shoes from running.  Now I would not suggest running you're office with no shoes.  In fact I would say definitely do not do that! But I would say that when things get difficult- when you are getting injured as it were- maybe the best thing to do, is simply go back to the basics!
